admittedly, i was reluctant to tackle the never-ending gauntlet of style that is AB FAB and not just because edina monsoon is a dreadful clotheshorse with hideous taste who happens to think the world of herself (and not in an endearing way like, say, jerri blank). but because, quite simply, it is the greatest, most stylish comedy of the 90s. patsy and eddie, those coke-snorting, bolly-guzzling, name-calling, name-droppers are characters in a league all their own, fashion icons in every way. in short: i am not worthy to critique this masterpiece. i promise that this will be a very inadequate showcase, but a fun trip down memory lane nonetheless.
